HARTFORD, Conn. — The energy was electric in Downtown Hartford Saturday as music pulsed through the air, laughter echoed between buildings and rainbow flags flew high.
The community gathered for the 2025 Hartford Pride Festival and Concert — a powerful celebration of self-expression, equality and community.
“This event is important for our youth right now to see that queer joy exists,” said Brayden Ransom, community impact manager at The Health Collective.
Trumbull Street came alive Saturday with a vibrant display of color, love and unity. The daylong festival featured live performances, local vendors and resource booths from organizations across the region, all aimed at uplifting and empowering the LGBTQIA+ community.
“We love you,” said Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam while addre
