The howling, chanting, sunburned, gold-shirt wearing, LED-wristband blinging LSU faithful should be eating up this 3-0 Tiger football team with a jambalaya ladle.

Defense is back like it hasn’t been at LSU since even before the 2019 national championship. The offense is often painful to watch, sure to be the focus of contention as the Tigers head to what will be a breather week against SLU. And against Florida, a team generations of LSU fans have grown to despise over their 55-straight years of facing each other, can delight in a bare-knuckles 20-10 victory over the hated Gators that, in some ways, goes down sweeter for the struggle that ensued over 3 hours and 21 minutes Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.
