LARAMIE, Wyo. – After Utah quarterback Devon Dampier lost the football in the pocket, he picked it up and found Larry Simmons for a toetap touchdown.

The play wasn’t just Simmons’ first TD of the season; it was his first catch of the season.

Over the first eight offensive drives, Dampier completed 26 of 40 pass attempts for 216 yards and one touchdown. He also scrambled 13 times for 86 yards.

Although the first half ended with Utah leading just 3-0, the offense was better than the score made it seem.
