BATON ROUGE — LSU football scored one offensive touchdown and settled for two long field goals against Florida on Saturday night.

Thanks to an interception returned for a touchdown by sophomore safety Dashawn Spears and five picks in total, the Tigers defense scored as many touchdowns as the offense and No. 4 LSU took down its rival Gators 20-10 to win its Southeastern Conference opener inside Tiger Stadium.

It's a good win as LSU (3-0, 1-0) adds a conference victory, but it was far from perfect. The opening question to LSU coach Brian Kelly was about the offense's struggles, particularly in the run game and on third down. LSU DEFENSE FORCES 5 PICKS IN WIN OVER FLORIDA

Kelly was not having it and cut WBRZ's Michael Cauble off mid-question.
