Patrick Beverley shared two seasons on the court with Kawhi Leonard at the Los Angeles Clippers. He has long had a close rapport with the star forward. Beverley affectionately referred to Leonard as “The Klaw” and has, in past interviews, offered insight into Leonard’s unique mindset in today’s NBA.
Amid Kawhi Leonard’s recent endorsement controversy, a previous statement from Beverley about Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has resurfaced. Last year, Beverley revealed that Ballmer had yet to follow through on a personal promise made when Beverley joined the Clippers.
