He could have been speaking of the 2025 Massachusetts apple harvest season. Thanks to a very wet spring that was a perfect set up for plant start and pollination (you can now be somewhat thankful for all those rainy weekends we cursed), a hot and dry summer that helps fruit grow more concentrated and then a hot and dry late summer that has brought extra sweetness and flavor, orchard owners are calling this the best apple season in years.
