BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX is preparing for another rocket launch from the Space Coast, according to the space agency.

The Falcon 9 launch of Northrop Grumman’s next Cygnus mission ( NG-23 ) to the International Space Station will launch from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

According to NASA, the Cygnus XL spacecraft is set to deliver more than 11,000 pounds of “science, research, and supplies* to the orbital complex, including materials to produce semiconductor crystals in space and equipment to develop improvements for cryogenic fuel tanks ."

Liftoff is targeted for 6:11 p.m, with a backup launch opportunity available on Monday, at 5:49 p.m.
