After a mistake-filled win and a heartbreaking loss to open a 2025 season, Arizona State finally put looked like the team that came into the year loaded with high expectations
“The juice really felt like we were playing as a team again,” said ASU quarterback Sam Leavitt.
The redshirt sophomore threw two touchdown passes and ran for another, running back Raleek Brown ran for 144 yards and one score, and the defense looked stout in the Sun Devils’ 34-15 victory over Texas State.
“I think we carried over the second half of last week in terms of the energy and passion that we played with,” said head coach Kenny Dillingham. “I think we’re slowly figuring ourselves out.”
