In a study entitled “ Who To Trust: The Most Trustworthy U.S. Accents ,” BetUS Casino ranks the Philadelphian accent in third overall.

Philadelphia’s ranking — along with the others included on the list — was determined after BetUS Casino researchers analyzed online sentiment regarding each. Search data involving queries in relation to accents — such as “friendly” or “professional” — were also factored in.

“In the City of Brotherly Love, people in Philadelphia are direct but also convey a sense of honesty — which shows in over 19,000 searches for how friendly and professional the accent is," the report reads.
