The special meeting of the Board of Mayor and Alderman — where a vote to oust at large member Joe Kelly Levasseur as chairman was expected to be taken — may have been canceled, but that didn’t stop the controversial official from speaking out on the situation.

Levasseur’s local cable television series, “The Will and Joe Show,” aired live on Manchester Community Television as scheduled Wednesday night (with former school board member Rich Girard filling in for regular cohost Will Infantine , who was traveling), and the topic of the special meeting — and Levasseur’s comments on social media directed at Manchester Health Director Anna Thomas that drew the ire of fellow board members — may have come up once or twice over the hourlong episode.
