Historian Keith Lockhart has photos, postcards and photo-based illustrations from days gone by in Delaware County, and he’s trying to keep the best records that he can.
He would appreciate your expertise and memory in identifying these artifacts as he continues this work.
Keith says this week’s photo of the Brandywine Tourist Camp is from about 1930. It stood in the area of Painter’s Crossing in the area of Baltimore Pike and U.S. 202, he says.
He’s looking for the precise location and what is there now. It’s possible there might be some special memories for some people regarding the campground.
