Amir Khan issues moving statement after death of 'warrior' Ricky Hatton
British boxing favourite Amir Khan has issued a powerful statement after the death of Ricky Hatton, who has been found dead at home in Greater Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police said today that a body has been found and the death is not being treated as suspicious. Posting on X, Amir Khan said: "Today we lost not only one of Britain’s greatest boxers, but a friend, a mentor, a warrior, Ricky Hatton. As fighters, we tell ourselves we’re strong - we train, we sweat, we take hits, we get up.
