British boxing promoter Frank Warren has paid tribute to Ricky Hatton after the boxer was found dead at 46. Warren said he was 'extremely saddened' to learn of the death of the multiple boxing champion - but said he would always be remembered for one incredible night.

In a post on X, he said: "I am extremely saddened to learn of the passing of British boxing legend Ricky Hatton. A superbly talented fighter who inspired a generation of young boxers and fans in a way very few had done before due to both his personality and the entertainment he provided in the ring.
