KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A hit-and-run crash on the southside of Kalamazoo has triggered a power outage Sunday morning.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash, which happened on East Stockbridge Avenue near Burdick Street. KDPS did not indicate whether anyone was hurt in the crash or release any information about a suspect.
“A vehicle struck a utility pole and interrupted power for the area. East Stockbridge between Bank Street and John Street will be temporarily closed for repairs. Please seek an alternate route,” KDPS said in a social media post.
Consumers Energy’s outage map estimates the outage should be resolved by 11:15 a.m.
