POCATELLO — Hundreds of people attended a Saturday night memorial service for the late Charlie Kirk on Idaho State University's Pocatello campus.
The event on the ISU Quad included a candlelight vigil in Kirk's honor and was attended by over 300 people, including ISU students and local residents.
Among the speakers at the event was Pastor Elijah Whitecar of Pocatello's Mountain Valley Baptist Church, who gave a thoughtful address about Kirk's life, legacy and faith.
Several Pocatello police and ISU Public Safety officers provided security at the event but the hour-long service saw no incidents or interruptions.
