VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI – A 41-year-old man died on Saturday, Sept. 13, in a head-on crash, Michigan State Police reported.

The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. in Van Buren County’s Antwerp Township.

Police say a Dodge passenger vehicle and Jeep SUV collided head-on on Red Arrow Highway. Circumstances surrounding the crash are unclear.

The driver of the Dodge, a 41-year-old Paw Paw man, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries.

Troopers said both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The crash remains under investigation.
