My Kitchen Rules’ first set of gatecrashers — Marko Savic and Danielle Oakman from WA — might have marked differences in cultures, interests, and skillsets, but the couple believe they embody all the values emblematic of their home State.

One of three latecomer teams to enter the home cooking show’s cauldron, the pair of 26-year-olds will put themselves, and WA, on a plate as they host their instant restaurant on Tuesday night.

“Danielle and I are WA personified, we’re Perth personified,” Marko told PerthNow.

“We’re underdogs, we’re hard working, but we’re also very relaxed and chill. So I think us representing WA is perfect.”
