Late Coventry City transfer target Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has moved away from Crystal Palace after going out on a season-long loan to Turkish side Çaykur Rizespor.

The Sky Blues launched a deadline day bid to get the 22-year-old winger but were unable to get the deal over the line and the player has, instead, moved abroad.

Rak-Sakyi, aged 22, made his senior breakthrough on loan at Charlton Athletic in League One two years ago and he then helped Sheffield United reach the Championship play-off final last term.

He chipped in with 22 goals and 11 assists across the two spells combined, despite being used as a substitute for a large chunk of his time at Bramall Lane, and was in demand this summer as it looked like Palace might be open to letting him go.
