Three men and two women were injured in three separate shootings late Sept. 13 and early Sept. 14, including a drive-by shooting at a convenience store in the Algonquin neighborhood, Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Matthew Sanders reported.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at JJ's Food Mart at 1612 Dixie Highway at 8:43 p.m. Sept. 13, Sanders said.
They found three people suffering from gunshot wounds, including a 19-year-old man with a wound in his left arm and a graze in his leg, a 41-year-old man with a wound in his thigh and a 67-year-old woman with a wound in her leg.
The victims were taken by first responders to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment, Sanders said. They are all expected to survive.
