LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Three people were hospitalized after a drive-by shooting in Louisville's Algonquin neighborhood Saturday evening.

Sgt. Matthew Sanders, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said in a news release that officers responded to JJ's Food Mart at 1612 Dixie Highway at 8:43 p.m. on a reported shooting.

Police found three people who had been shot. A 19-year-old man was shot in the left arm and had a graze to his leg, a 41-year-old man was shot in the thigh and a 67-year-old woman was shot in the leg.

The three victims were taken to UofL Hospital and are expected to survive, according to police.

Police said a dark-colored vehicle opened fire on the group at the JJ's Food Mart before fleeing the scene.
