All throughout this week, the Detroit Lions have been licking their wounds after getting routed by the Green Bay Packers, 27-13, in Week 1.

They still seem to be in decent shape overall as far as contending in an NFC that suddenly looks a lot stronger than it did a couple of months ago. But the optimism surrounding them has dampened a bit, and they will have some work to do in order to put themselves in position to reach the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history.

One man who will have to step things up to get Detroit to the big game is fourth-year wide receiver Jameson Williams. He had a breakout season in 2024, but last Sunday, he had just four catches and 23 yards.
