Pete Buttigieg is weighing in on the explosive new book excerpt from former Vice President Kamala Harris in which she slammed former President Joe Biden’s “recklessness” during the 2024 campaign.

Speaking with Kristen Welker on NBC’s Sunday, the former transportation secretary concurred with the former vice president that Biden was wrong to pursue a second term in office before withdrawing from the campaign in July, following a widely-panned debate performance against President Donald Trump .

“He should not have run,” Buttigieg said. “And if he had made that decision sooner, we might have been better off.
