Sixteen months after the Patriots selected eight players in the 2024 NFL Draft, Drake Maye i s the only member of his class active for a Week 2 matchup in Miami.

Backup guard Caedan Wallace is the lone other member of the group currently on the 53-man roster, and Mike Vrabel has made him a healthy scratch against the Dolphins.

Outside of Maye, the draft class is aging horribly.

Second-rounder Ja’Lynn Polk and sixth-rounder Joe Milton III have both been traded for little return, fourth-round pick Javon Baker and seventh-rounder Jaheim Bell were released this summer, and fourth-rounder Layden Robinson and sixth-round corner Marcellas Dial are on injured reserve, though neither of them was battling for a starting job as training camp wore on.
