Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle was predicted to win the weekend, but it absolutely destroyed estimates with a $70 million take. This is the biggest box office haul for an anime film by more than double, besting 1999’s Pokémon: The First Movie – Mewtwo Strikes Back , and Sony's biggest opening domestically in over two years.
