ATLANTA — Jose Altuve was removed from the Astros win over Atlanta on Saturday after complaining of right foot discomfort. On Sunday, he wasn't in the starting lineup for the series finale.
According to Astros.com , Altuve was day-to-day after coming out of Saturday's game in the third inning. Ramón Urías finished the game and Mauricio Dubon got the nod at second base on Sunday.
Altuve, who had been struggling at the plate as of late, was showing signs of coming out of it. In the series opener against Atlanta, he had two hits in four at-bats, including a home run. And he had a hit in two at-bats in Saturday's game before being pulled.
This season, Altuve is batting .264 with a team-leading 25 home runs. He's driven in 70 runs.
Going into Sunday's game, the Astros were tied with the
