It was a milestone day for Cade McNamara, but not one he’ll remember fondly.

The former Michigan quarterback surpassed 5,000 passing yards for his college career but also threw two interceptions in East Tennessee State’s 35-31 loss at West Georgia.

McNamara, who spent his first four seasons at Michigan and the last two at Iowa, transferred to the FCS level for his final year of college. He’s in a two-quarterback system with another transfer, Jacolby Criswell (Arkansas, North Carolina).

Both have played in the Buccaneers’ first three games. On Saturday, McNamara was 9 of 13 passing for 76 yards and two interceptions. He was sacked four times. Criswell completed 5 of 8 passes with three touchdowns. He also ran for 32 yards.
