BOZEMAN — The Montana State football team’s first win of the season came in blowout fashion, and with some milestones.

Justin Lamson passed for a career-high 293 yards in Saturday’s 41-7 victory over San Diego at Bobcat Stadium . The 28 yards tacked on by backup quarterback Patrick Duchien gave MSU its most passing yards in a game since 2015.

Wide receiver Taco Dowler topped the career-high he set two games earlier with 116 receiving yards Saturday, and he scored multiple touchdowns for the third time in his 38-game college career. His twin brother, strong safety Caden Dowler, notched his first career sack.
