ARLINGTON — Sunday couldn’t have gone worse James Hudson III, the Giants ‘ fill-in starter for injured franchise left tackle Andrew Thomas.

Hudson committed an astounding four penalties and allowed a sack on the Giants’ opening drive against the Dallas Cowboys, prompting coach Brian Daboll to bench him in favor of rookie Marcus Mbow to begin the visitors’ second possession.

Hudson became the first NFL player “this century” to be called for four penalties on the same drive, according to FOX Sports .
