Few could have predicted four years ago how much Philadelphia Phillies fans would come to love Kyle Schwarber.

In 2022, Schwarber was coming off a nice platform season with the Washington Nationals and Boston Red Sox, but he was also still only a year removed from being non-tendered by the Chicago Cubs. Since then, all he's done is mash.

Schwarber has three seasons with at least 40 home runs in a Phillies uniform, and he topped the 50 mark for the first time this year. Though he'll be 33 next season, he's going to have an extremely competitive market this winter compared to his last go-around.

How competitive? USA Today's Bob Nightengale made an eyebrow-raising projection on Sunday.
