Penn State will face an interim head coach later in its 2025 schedule.

Big Ten foe UCLA fired head coach Deshaun Foster after an ugly start to his second season with the Bruins. They began this year 0-3.

UCLA named special assistant Tim Skipper as the interim head coach. He was most recently at Fresno State.

Penn State plays at UCLA on Oct. 4.

UCLA’s losses came to three nonconference foes, two from Group of Six conferences. Utah dismantled UCLA 43-10, UNLV shocked the Bruins 30-23 and New Mexico did Foster in this weekend 35-10.
