LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

An investigation is underway after a man was shot at a club in the California neighborhood early Sunday morning.

Just after 1 a.m., officers were called out to Legends nightclub in the 2500 block of West Broadway for a reported shooting.

When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old man who had been shot in the leg.

He was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment, and police said he is expected to survive.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation.
