MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – After a Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, it was openly questioned whether Drake Maye had too much on his plate in Josh McDaniels’ offensive system.
It didn’t take long on Sunday to see that this wasn’t the case for the young quarterback.
Drake Maye and the Patriots offense looked much better against the Miami Dolphins. The offensive unit went down south and put together three straight scoring drives to start their Week 2 matchup. This group, which scored 13 points against Las Vegas, looked revitalized on this sunny afternoon.
The offense battled and entered the fourth quarter with a three-point lead. The question, however, was whether or not the Patriots could hold onto it. Just when it looked like they wouldn’t, the game turned wild.
