Victories on Saturday resulted in a climb up the rankings for Alabama and Auburn in the latest Associated Press Top 25 college football poll released Sunday.
The Alabama Crimson Tide made one of the week's more significant jumps, moving up five spots to No. 14 following a decisive 38-14 home victory over Wisconsin. The win improved first-year coach Kalen DeBoer’s home record in Tuscaloosa to a perfect 9-0.
The Auburn Tigers also saw a bump, rising two spots to No. 22 after defeating South Alabama 31-15 to remain undefeated at 3-0. It marks the second time in three seasons under coach Hugh Freeze that the Tigers have started the season with three consecutive wins.
