DUBLIN, Texas (KWTX) - A juvenile was arrested after allegedly bringing a weapon to a Dublin High School football game on Sept. 12, according to police.

Dublin ISD administration was notified of a juvenile with a weapon and alerted on-duty officers with the Dublin Police Department, who located the student, recovered the weapon, and arrested the juvenile, according to authorities.

According to police, the student was charged with unlawful carry of a weapon in prohibited places and transported to a juvenile detention center, where they remained in custody as of the information release on Sept. 13.

The case will be forwarded to the Erath County Attorney’s Office for prosecution.

Due to laws pertaining to juveniles, authorities said the identity of the individual will not be released.
