CAMERON, Texas (KWTX) – The Cameron Police Department says it has identified and taken into custody the suspect in a convenience store robbery.
According to police, officers responded to Mike’s Convenience Store at 1003 West 4th Street for a report of an aggravated robbery on Aug. 12.
The investigation led to evidence identifying Frederick Parker, 46, of Cameron, as the suspect who allegedly robbed the store clerk at gunpoint, police said.
Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Parker, who is also a suspect in multiple other robberies. He was located by the Killeen Police Department on Sept. 12.
Despite attempts to flee from officers, Parker was arrested on Sept. 13. He is charged with aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, according to police.
