A Vancouver Canucks spokesperson didn’t have any updates Sunday afternoon on the injury status of first-round draft pick Braeden Cootes, who left Saturday’s prospects game against the Seattle Kraken in Everett with an undisclosed ailment.
Vancouver’s never been overly forthcoming with injury issues, so this is very much on brand for them. We will get a better idea of how he’s doing later today, when we see if he’s in the lineup for the second half of this two-game series for Vancouver and Seattle prospects.
