One local organization brought people together for a good cause.
The Erie VA Medical Center teamed up with Sons of the American Legion Squadron 571 from Wesleyville to bring car enthusiasts from all over out for an afternoon of classic cars, motorcycles and refreshments.
A limited amount of dash plates were available for those who put their cars on display.
One organizer explained the importance of events like these for the residents and the public.
Keith Mayo, Sergeant at Arms, Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 571, said, "So, the people that we serve, the majority are on a fixed income.
