CAMP RIPLEY — Wet roads and a pothole combined as two motorcycles were involved in a crash Friday, Sept. 12, on Highway 115.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported a group of motorcycles were headed east on Highway 115 when it was raining. The crash was reported at 12:54 p.m. Friday on the highway at Veterans Drive in Morrison County.

An Indian Pursuit motorcycle, driven by Brian J. Ridgway, 41, Brookfield, Wisconsin, hit a pothole and lost control on the wet railroad tracks. A BMW motorcycle behind Ridgway attempted to avoid the collision, losing control on the railroad tracks as well.

Driver of the BMW, Donald M. Yates, 63, and his passenger, Deanna E. Yates, 64, both of Blue Mountain, Missouri, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to CHI St. Gabriel’s Health hospital in
