Don’t expect to see Jeremy Allen White at the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 14), as he’s officially not going to be there.

The 34-year-old star of The Bear will not be in attendance at the star-studded ceremony being held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The reason? His best friend’s wedding.

“ Jeremy Allen White will not be at the #Emmys tonight because his best friend is getting married,” Variety reported hours before the ceremony.

He is nominated for Lead Actor in a Comedy for his work in The Bear this year. He previously won in 2023 and 2024 in the same category.
