COLERAIN, Ohio — Fire crews are battling a large fire at the Rumpke Landfill in Colerain Sunday evening.

Colerain fire crews were alerted to an active fire at the landfill at 6:30 p.m., according to Rumpke West Area Communications Manager Molly Yeager.

Rumpke is working alongside Colerain Fire to extinguish the flames at this time.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No injuries have been reported.
