NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — New York City Mayor Eric Adams continues to pound the drum for his reelection campaign, saying he will not drop out of the mayoral race.
Spokesperson for Mayor Adams, Todd Shapiro, told PIX11 News that all rumors of the incumbent dropping out of the race are "complete b----."
"These lies are being spread by desperate opponents who can't match the mayor's record, his campaign energy, or his support across the city," Shapiro said.
A recent PIX11 poll showed that Adams (7%) is currently trailing the pack, consisting of Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani (43%), Independent candidate Andrew Cuomo (28%), and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa (10%).
The statement from Shapiro on Sunday came soon after New York
