A Tasmanian couple is thrilled to be able to share its weekend Lotto windfall with its family and grandchildren.

The Apple Isle grandparents from Claremont won $2 million in the TattsLotto draw on Saturday - one of five division one winning entries.

"Oh my god! You're not joking, are you?!" the winning husband said when an official from The Lott revealed the winning news.

"This is not a scam?

"You have to read out the winning numbers for me!

"We will be in complete disbelief all day."

He said he and his wife would share their win with family.

"We will share with the family and our grandchildren," he said.

"We can't wait to tell our children."

The winning numbers in draw 4607 were 31, 13, 18, 15, 2 and 40, while the supplementary numbers were 36 and 26.
