A Scots woman has thanked the man who came to her rescue as she was being mauled by an XL-Bully in the street.
Lesley Anne Robinson, 63, was attacked while out walking her granddaughter Milly's border collie puppy, Bea, on Marina Road in West Lothian on Thursday afternoon, September 11.
The gran-of-six said as soon as she saw the XL Bully approaching alongside a man and woman, without a leash or a muzzle, she new something was going to happen.
The beast latched on to Bea's neck and ripped into Lesley Anne's arms and fingers and knocked her to the ground before a mystery man came to her rescue.
Lesley Anne suffered two deep lacerations to both arms and a number of cuts and believes the man saved her life.
