One in 10 Irish businesses unable to cope if pushed offline for an hour

A survey of 100 Irish businesses also claims that female bosses are far less confident than males about recovering from a cyberattack

One in 10 Irish businesses say they couldn’t cope if forced offline for one hour, with one in 20 saying the same about being offline for one minute.

In a survey commissioned by the insurance firm Gallagher, 10pc of Irish businesses say a hour offline would “seriously” disrupt their operations, with one in 20 claiming the same for a period of 60 seconds.
