LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Car lovers assembled in South Lansing for a good cause today at the 7th annual Shaheen Chevrolet car show.
100% of proceeds from the car show go towards The Davies project. The organization connects families to resources by providing reliable transportation for seriously ill children and pregnant women to essential health care.
There were 40 trophies given out today, and food trucks were on hand.
“This is an event we look forward to every year to come out and work and supporting our community, and we always bring our cars out,” Kyle Felts president of the Capital City Corvette Club, said. “And you know, every year we get about 250 cars so the community really turns out, and we always get vendors, and we got a lot of sponsors this year.
