An amateur mixed martial arts fighter sprayed fart gas in a fast food restaurant so he could make TikTok prank videos, a Perth court has heard.
Arhab Haque disguised himself with a beanie, face mask, and hood and sprayed the gas in Hungry Jacks in Redcliffe on three separate occasions, while recording on his mobile phone.
The 20-year-old also targeted Baskin Robbins in Southern River.
The incident made news at the time , with police saying someone had sprayed an unknown noxious substance in the restaurants.
Haque's lawyer Jack Hudson said he had been watching TikTok videos of pranks and in collaboration with a friend who worked at Hungry Jacks, decided to do something similar.
"A very poor attempt at humour," Mr Hudson said, which was "down to his immaturity."
