Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri were noticeably missing from the 2025 Emmy Awards .

The two lead stars of The Bear both decided to skip the awards show on Sunday night (September 14) despite being nominated.

Jeremy , 34, was nominated for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series while Ayo , 29, was actually nominated for two awards – Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. Sadly Jeremy and Ayo did not win.

Hours before the awards show, it was revealed that Jeremy was skipping the awards show to instead attend the wedding of his best friend.

According to E! News , Ayo missed the event due to a scheduling conflict as she’s currently filming in Japan.
