SOFIA Vergara has revealed she was rushed to the ER after suffering the "craziest" allergy on the way to the Emmys.

The America's Got Talent judge, 53, caused concern amongst fans when she shared a post revealing she'd had to make a dash to the hospital .

Sofia had been about to head to the Emmys red carpet , when she suddenly started feeling unwell.

She told fans: "Didn't make it to the Emmys but made it to the ER!.

"Sorry I had to cancel!

"Craziest eye allergy right before getting in the car!"

On the Instagram post, the Modern Family star shared a series of pictures.

In one of them her left eye is seen looking very swollen and sore.

Another snap saw her lying on a hospital bed, while in a short clip she was seen rinsing her eye out.
