ENFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - Police are on scene investigating an incident in the 100 block of Post Office Road, where a heavy law enforcement presence has drawn attention early Monday morning.

Several police vehicles were seen lined up outside a home on the block, with their lights flashing and the front door of the residence left open.

According to Channel 3 crews at the scene, officers instructed bystanders to move further down the street shortly after arrival, and then closed the home’s door.

Authorities have yet to release any official details about the nature of the incident.

The area has since been partially closed off, with police extending the road closure farther down Post Office Road as the investigation continues.
