The city of Battle Creek is hosting a public meeting on housing. The event will take place Sept. 22 at the Kool Family Community Center, 200 W. Michigan Ave., according to a community announcement.

The meeting will feature Ryan Kilpatrick, a housing expert, who will discuss the region's housing landscape and lead a conversation about solutions for Battle Creek. There will be two sessions: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
